The notarization of your documents are a crucial part of having your documents be considered LEGAL.

During the crisis, there are three ways to have your documents notarized.

1) Electronic Notary (eNotary), also called webcam notarization, online notarization or virtual notarization.

Not every state has enacting laws allowing a notarial officer to preform a virtual notary, however, almost all states do recognize notarial acts performed by notaries outside of their state . This means if your state does not have have electronic notaries, you are permitted to use an eNotary from another state.  Due to the virus crisis, more states are getting up to the times. Please check with either:

We do not work for, endorse or get any commission or compensation from either of these resources.  It is up to you to make your own decision.

2) If your state does not allow Virtual Notarization, then you may need to have a mobile notary visit you.

To find a mobile notary you can use a directory such as or simply do a google search for mobile notary near me.

3) Your bank.  During the crisis your bank may not be performing notary services so we would suggest you call ahead.

We do not endorse any Notary or Service however you will need to find one to complete your legal documents.
